Travel Log
After much anticipation, we finally arrived in Italy on September 3 on a flight from Athens.
We had an absolutely wonderful time in Italy. The 26 days we spent here were the highlight of our travels so far. We started in Rome, then spent a full three weeks in Tuscany, and conculded with a short stay in Venice. The mix of scenery, food, history and art is amazing - this is a very special place, and we're sure that we'll be back someday.
We departed Italy on October 1, driving to Nice in France to begin a 2 1/2 week stay in Provence.
SICILY TRIP - MARCH 2006
Our love for Italy couldn't keep us away for long, and we returned in March 2006 for a great 2-week trip to Sicily.
