Finally, here they are approaching the rest of the pride (there are several lions laying down - it's hard to see them all)	Our best picture yet of the cape buffalo! Given how aggressive they are, we've been surprised at how shy they seem to be.	More traffic in the road (crossing buffaloes)	This was the first rhino we saw today. It's the black thing in the center of the picture. The rhinos usually stay very far away, and are generally spotted at long distances.
At our picnic lunch spot (Ngoitokitok Springs)	The school of hippos in residence at "Hippo Pool"	Most of the hippos cool themselves by using their tails to splash cold water on their backs.	A few of the hippos prefer to simply roll over in the water!
Sometimes when they roll, they stretch their legs straight out!	Some of the hippos just roll on their sides, exposing their pink stomachs.	This heron decided that the hippo would make a good resting spot - the hippo didn't seem to mind.	What the hippo didn't know is that the bird had something else in mind, and left him a little present!
