A fresh water lake called "El Junco" (the only one in the Galapagos), located inside a dormant crater in the highlands of San Cristobal. |

The maconia plant, one of the few endemic plants of the Galapagos Islands. |
During our dinghy ride through San Cristobal harbor, we again laughed at how the sea lions make themselves comfortable in people's boats. This one doesn't look like it could take another sea lion on its port side! |
Note the barbed wire on the larger boat, intended to keep the sea lions away. |
A handsome looking guy! |

This is called "Kicker Rock", one of the most famous landmarks in the Galapagos Islands. |
This view shows why it's called "Kicker Rock" (it's shaped like a boot...) |
A sea lion colony at Wizard Hill Beach on San Cristobal Island (the people in the background show how the sea lions simply hang out with everyone...) |
A couple of sea lions that we encountered during our walk along the beach. |
